Chef “Dieter”

Chef Dieter received his formal training in a 5 Star house “The Atlantic” in Hamburg, Germany and, as is the custom perfected his skills in several different culinary styles and locations throughout Europe as well as in Canada.

He has practised his art in such diverse restaurants as the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden, the Belfry Club in London, England, the Hotel de la Plage on Jersey Island, the cruise ship Vista Fjord and as Executive Chef of the Sherwood Inn in Muskoka.

The Gables is listed in the National Restaurant Guide “Where to Eat in Canada”.We take great pride in the quality of our cooking and baking and invite you to relax and enjoy your meal, which will be individually prepared for you.
